M&A Source Announces New Chair – Fred G. Jager, CBI, CM&A

Chicago – The M&A Source, the world’s largest international association of middle market managers and acquisitions intermediaries, recently named Fred G. Jager, CBI, CM&A, as its chairman for 2003, at the IBBA 36th Conference and Educational Program Nov. 10-16 in Universal City, Calif.
The M&A Source, a division of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), is made up of experienced, dedicated middle market merger and acquisition professionals. The M&A Source meets twice yearly (spring and fall) for education, networking and to host a middle market buyer’s exposition. A new chairman is appointed annually and named at the fall conference.
Jager is a nationally known figure in the world of investment banking and is founder, president and chief executive officer of Hunter Wise Financial Group, LLC and Hunter Wise Securities, LLC. For three decades he has represented public and privately held companies throughout North America, becoming one of the nation’s most successful leaders in middle-market corporate finance.

The Source was established in 1991 to address the professional issues of merger and acquisition professionals. This organization currently has more than 228 cooperative intermediaries across the United States and around the world.
Formed in 1983, the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) is the largest international non-profit association operating exclusively for the benefit of people and firms engaged in the various aspects of a business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions. Today, the IBBA has more than 1,200 cooperative business brokers and intermediaries across Canada, Mexico, Asia, Europe and the United States.
