A highly licensed securities professional with a diverse background, Michael Blank provides his clients with diversified solutions to their business needs. A highly experienced trader, Mr. Blank is experienced in implementing complex and profitable strategies, as well as hedging currency and commodity risk exposures. He previously owned and operated his own NFA registered Commodities firm. Prior to coming to Hunter Wise, Mr. Blank was with Merrill Lynch and has previously held the titles Head Trader, Senior Registered Options Principal, Designated Municipal Bonds Principal, Director of Compliance, and Assistant FINOP for the other broker dealers with which he has been registered. Mr. Blank is also a Level 2 CMT and highly skilled in technical analysis. Mr. Blank received his MBA Magna Cum Laude from Webster University and his BA Suma Cum Laude from Saint Louis University.

Mr. Blank's area of expertise and concentration is with those companies relating to industries regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. He was involved in the highly publicized Winchester deal on behalf of the City of New Haven, and on behalf of clients has participated in on the buy side most of the major investment banking opportunities in this industry, including other such major names as Colt, Marlin & Remington.
