William F. Peck
Bill Peck has initiated and closed the sale or recapitalization of numerous privately-owned businesses in his 20-year investment banking career. Clients served range from small technology companies having fewer than 50 employees to multi-national manufacturing firms having over 1,500 employees. Types of clients served range broadly from service to distribution, and from building products to printed circuit boards. While most of his clients have been US based, he has also sold companies located in England, Switzerland, Canada and Scotland. With broad contacts among both strategic buyers and Private Equity Groups, Mr. Peck is able to introduce prospective sellers to the right buyers in a timely manner. This assures the best fit between seller and buyer, as well as maximizing shareholder value. More importantly, he is experienced in negotiating the complex deal structure issues and terms of sale that are often as important as the selling price.
Mr. Peck earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and Ohio State University respectively. Following graduation, he advanced through sales, marketing and product management positions at Union Carbide Corporation, which included operational management of several business units having over 500 employees. Prior to joining Hunter Wise, Mr. Peck was a Managing Director at Citigroup Capital Strategies, a division of Citi specializing in providing M&A services to privately owned, middle market companies.
