Stephen J. Gillette
Steve Gillette has over 25 years of business operating experience as a senior officer of both public and private companies, which has served him well in matters of corporate finance. Prior to becoming Managing Director of the Denver office of Hunter Wise Financial Group, Mr. Gillette was founder and President of Prime Capital Group, LLC, a Denver based boutique corporate finance advisory group. Beginning in 1998, Prime Capital has assisted small and medium sized companies with strategic advice in the areas of finance and corporate governance and with mergers, acquisitions and capital formation. Before forming Prime Capital, Mr. Gillette spent over 25 years in general aviation and the airline business and was founder, COO and CEO of two regional airlines, the first based in Denver and the later, based in Kansas City, MO. Through the years in aviation as an “operator,” Mr. Gillette developed the financial skills and was responsible for numerous equity, debt, lease and corporate transactions totaling over $100 million.
Mr. Gillette’s client focus over the last several years has included engagements in the Semiconductor Equipment and Semiconductor Specialty Products industry sectors, Telecommunications, Commercial Real Estate Development, CAD/CAM Engineering Software Development and Value-Added Resale, On-line Education, and Casino Gaming/Hospitality Development.
Mr. Gillette received his B.S. in Economics from Rutgers University. He is member of the Association for Corporate Growth- Denver Chapter, is a licensed commercial pilot and certified flight instructor and also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Officials Association.
